This year, St. Matthias' is continuing to explore the Eucharist in a new way. Join us on three Saturday mornings this winter to bake bread and chat together about some of the different elements of this celebration. At each session, we'll also have a guest priest share some of their experiences of communion, and of course, we'll get to eat our bread together, along with other foods Jesus might have eaten! Our first session of 2025 will be January 18th, at 10am, meeting upstairs in the Guild Room (stairs up from the 10 Church Hill entrance, or ring the bell and someone will come help you access the less-stair-y 12 Church Hill entrance). Come share your perspective - or your questions - on why communion happens at the altar (or not)!
